Biology Club

The Biology Club at CVCC was a very active club. It hosted hikes every other Saturday in the Spring led by the biology teacher, plus occasionally other teachers and local park rangers. Charitable contributions included river sweeps, clearing invasive plants at local parks, and aiding at the Science Olympiad.
Leadership Academy
The Student Leadership Academy is a semester long after school program that students must be accepted into and commit to going to every class.
Through the Academy I received training on characteristics of successful leaders, communication skills, how to handle anger and attended a panel of local leaders. This program is the inspiration behind this website, though it started as a binder of professional documents.
