Curriculum
Development
Wrote 25 lessons on business and engineering for high school, 12 lessons using children’s literature to teach elementary science, and 5 lessons for middle school curriculum that focuses on the Moon, Artemis, and CubeSats.
Teacher Training
Trained teachers on programs and curriculums offered by Space Foundation for professional development hours.
Teacher Resources
Wrote "Resources" corner of a teacher newsletter that included recent publications of space themed books and highlighted the company's and partners' products for an audience of international teachers PreK-College.
Research and published a list of over 100 children's picture books about space.
Community Events
Coordinated a community event in Maryland with over 200 attendees: 13 crafts, 2 types of robotics, an astronaut presentation, and 10 staff and volunteers.
As well as provided support for similar program in Connecticut and Alabama.
Discovery Center
Supported field trips, virtual programming, community events, and outreach sponsored by the museum.
Space Symposium
Supported educational programming during this international event with over 10,000 attendees from 40 different countries.
Educational programming included teacher professional development for over 200 teacher liaisons, student tours for over 1,000 students.
